This safari includes a forest glade tree lodge, Lake Nakuru with spectacular bird life, two full days in the superb Masai Mara, scenic Amboseli, Green hilled Tsavo West and the dry Tsavo East. Leaving Nairobi immediately after breakfast you drive north through coffee plantations and then through green wooded hills as you climb higher into the heart of up country Kenya. Close to the mountain you climb higher through the trees to Mountain Lodge on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. This tree lodge is in a forest glade with a floodlit waterhole for day and night game viewing. Lunch and dinner at the lodge. Overnight you may stay up late watching for game.

After breakfast you depart by road across verdant woodland via Nyahururu Falls, often called its colonial name of Thomsons Falls, and drop down thousands of feet to the rift valley floor, a spectacular scenic drive, that takes you the Lake Nakuru National Park, home to migrating flocks of thousands of colourful flamingos. After lunch at your lodge you will have an afternoon game drive. The lake is home to rhino and the rare Rothschild giraffe. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast you travel by road leaving the flamingo fringed shores of the lake behind as you head across the floor of the Great Rift Valley and climb up the Mau escarpment before heading towards Narok and the Massai Mara. After entering the Mara reserve you will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will have your first game drive to discover the magic of the Mara. Dinner, camp fire and overnight at your lodge.

The whole day is available for morning and afternoon game drives. During the annual wildebeest migration there are countless herds of plains game and spectacular river crossings. Take a lunch box and spend the entire day with the wildlife spectacle. There is plenty of good game viewing all year round. Dinner, camp fire and overnight at your lodge.

As you are in the heart of some of the best game viewing Kenya has to offer, this will be your second whole day in the Mara, a feature of this safari, as you have time off from long road journeys and a chance to relax. Game drives at your leisure. Dinner, camp fire and overnight.

After breakfast you will leave the Mara via Narok, the Masai main town in the area, crossing wheat farms and game on route with a chance to see more plains game including giraffe as you cross the valley floor before climbing the escarpment and then leading into the capital of Nairobi. Arriving in time for lunch you afterwards continue driving south on tarmac roads to Namanga at the Tanzania border where you turn onto murram roads leading to Amboseli. Inside the park you will see game en-route to your lodge. Dinner, camp fire and overnight at your lodge.

You have the entire day to explore this jewel of a National Park that is small but full of a large variety of game. Get up early for a game drive in the cool morning air with a chance to see the snow capped peak of Kilimanjaro returning to your lodge for a late breakfast. Amboseli is hot and dusty. The swimming pool is welcome during the middle of the day. On the afternoon game drive hunt down elephant in the swamps. Dinner, camp fire and overnight.

You leave Amboseli after an early breakfast to drive across the Massai plains to the foothills of the volcanic Chyulu Hills, past lava flows with a game drive en-route to see the Tsavo West Mzima Springs. Here you may see hippo underwater from a special underwater tank. Lunch at the Kilaguni Serena Lodge where you will see game at the water hole close to the lodge. After lunch you have a game drive en-route as you leave the green hills of Tsavo West and drive via the main Mombasa highway to Tsavo East entering the park at Voi Gate. Dinner and overnight at Satao Camp.

After an early breakfast you explore part of the dry bush country of Tsavo East with a chance to see the ‘red elephants’, visiting the Lugard falls at Crocodile Point on the Sabaki river. Lunch will be at your camp and after check-out you drive out off Tsavo East on a en-route game drive departing the Sala or Bachumu Gate arriving at your beach hotel in the late afternoon.
