Departing the town of Arusha at 2 pm we drive westwards through rolling hills down to the valley floor for game viewing in the small but atmospheric Lake Manyara Park known for elephant amongst the acacia trees with lions hanging on the branches. After breakfast we descend to the valley floor on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara Park for a morning game. Return to your Lodge for lunch and then we drive over steep winding roads to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater at 6,000 feet and continue along the rim and stay overnight in the cool fresh air of the crater rim at the Ngorongoro Serena lodge

After breakfast we drive down the steep narrow track to the crater floor of the fabled Ngorongoro Crater one of the world’s largest volcanic craters that is full of a wide variety of game for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
