This is a good choice for a short Kenya safari with birdlife at the lake and prolific wildlife in the Mara.

The soda rich lakes in the rift valley attract migrating flamingos in huge flocks and the Masai Mara has the greatest concentration of game in Kenya.

Arrive in the capital city of Nairobi and we will meet you and transfer you to your city hotel. Overnight the New Stanley Hotel.

From Nairobi you begin your safari in the morning by driving down the edge of the great rift valley escarpment to Lake Nakuru. Inside the park you will have a game drive en-route to your camp. After lunch in the lodge you will have a full afternoon game drive and the chance to see Rhino and massive flocks of flamingos in a wild splash of colour. A wildlife spectacle. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

You will leave after breakfast to drive across the rift valley floor and across to the higher ground of the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will have the first Mara game drive. Overnight and camp fire.

Rise early for a game drive in the cold morning air with a chance to see predators on the move. Return to your camp for a late breakfast. After lunch another game drive. During the annual migration you may see thousands of wildebeest in massed herds with plenty of lion. Dinner, camp fire and overnight in the Mara.

After breakfast you will say goodbye to the Mara and drive to Nairobi with a late morning arrival.
