Arrive in the capital city of Nairobi and we will meet you and transfer you to your city hotel. Overnight the New Stanley Hotel.

Leaving Nairobi immediately after breakfast you drive north through coffee and pineapple plantations and then through green wooded hills as you climb higher into the heart of up country Kenya. Close to the mountain you climb higher through the trees to Mountain Lodge on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. This tree lodge is in a forest glade with a floodlit waterhole for day and night game viewing. Lunch and dinner at the lodge. Overnight you may optional stay up late watching for game.

After breakfast leave the forest and drive across the equator dropping down thousands of feet to the rugged wilderness of the samburu region. Enter the Samburu/Shaba Reserve in time for lunch at your lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this remote area and return at sunset to your lodge. Dinner, camp fire and overnight.
