Departing the town of Arusha at 2 pm we drive westwards through rolling hills down to the valley floor for game viewing in the small but atmospheric Lake Manyara Park known for elephant amongst the acacia trees with lions hanging on the branches. Overnight at the comfortable Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

After breakfast we descend to the valley floor on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara Park for a morning game. Return to your Lodge for lunch and then we drive over steep winding roads to the rim of the world famous Ngongoro Crater at 6,000 feet and continue along the rim and stay overnight in the cool fresh air of the crater rim at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

After breakfast we drive down the steep narrow track to drop 3,000 feet to the floor of one of the world,s largest volcanic craters the fabled Ngorongoro. Here there is game in abundance in a wide variety for all day game viewing with a picnic lunch on the crater floor. You may see the Big 5 in one day. Be prepared for exciting photo opportunities. Overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

After breakfast we drive further across the crater rim north to the plains of the Serengeti via the Olduvai Gorge to Serengeti National Park. Expect to see game through the heat shimmer during the drive. Lunch will be a picnic box supplied by the lodge. Overnight at the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

After breakfast the whole day is for game viewing with drives in the morning and afternoon. You will see a large variety of game including the predators. The open savannah plains are awesome. Overnight at the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

After 5 days in a safari vehicle you will appreciate the comfort of flying back to Arusha after breakfast. Morning transfer to Seronera Airstrip for flight back to Arusha and transfer to Arusha town centre arriving at around 1230.
