Southern Sky Safaris’ staff meets clients arriving at Nairobi, Mombasa and Malindi airports to help with arrival and departure formalities and onward flight reservations. After arrival at their hotel, all clients are briefed by a representative from Southern Sky Safaris about local customs and currency and given general advice to ensure their stay is enjoyable.
A 24-hour telephone contact is available in case of emergencies occurring outside normal office hours. On safari your vehicle has two-way H.F. communications with our main offices via the workshop.
Southern Sky Safaris is a member of the Kenya Association of Tour Operators. All drivers/guides are trained to understand and comply with the code of conduct for travel inside game parks; they will not crowd predators, feed animals, drive irresponsibly or create litter. Please acquaint yourself with these restrictions so as not to put the driver/guide in a compromised position.
Your holiday will be contracted with agreed Terms and Conditions.
You are advised to purchase travel insurance, which is widely and readily available from many reliable sources

On request we display your logo at airport desks, on safari vehicles, and provide our staff with your company badge.
Joining the Flying Doctors’ Society helps the service reach the people who need it most and also ensures you will have a fast response and free emergency evacuation flight should the worst happen on your travels. Cost is US$20 per person.
Through KATO and the African Air Rescue (AAR) you may take out a local accident medical coverage for road and air evacuation. The cost is US$14 per person. We recommend this option since it provides 24-hour coverage from anywhere in Kenya and Tanzania..
