steady breezes at the Kenya coast ensure this is a water sports playground
for all. A number of international amateur and professional kite boarding
and windsurfing competitions have been held over the years at the Kenya
coast and many hotels offer kite board and windsurfing equipment and a few
have professional schools. The Professional Water Sports centre at the
Nyali Beach Hotel on Mombasa’s north coast is recommended and Pinewood
Village to the south of Diani Beach has a sports centre for the young at
heart.
